Who is funding this project?

Horos Mobile™ has been developed and funded exclusively by iCat Solutions Ltd. We have not received any funding or donations from anyone else.

Do I have to donate to use the app?

No. Currently the app is distributed for free. However, this may change in the future, as the project grows and more time is needed for development.

What is the purpose of Horos Mobile™?

Horos Mobile™ is a companion and complementary app to the Horos Desktop app. It is NOT a replacement of the Horos Desktop.

Can I become a Beta Tester?

Yes. Just drop us a line with your Apple ID (email) and we will take care of the rest!

Can I import studies from iCloud/Google Drive and Dropbox?

Does Horos Mobile™ support other transfer syntaxes apart from the default?

Can I create a folder for the same patient?

Horos Mobile™ takes care of that for you. The app will automatically create a folder for the same patient to include all imported studies. The patient MUST have the same name, same surname, same DoB, and the same gender.

What file formats does Horos Mobile™ support?

Horos Mobile™ supports a wide range of DICOM file formats. If you have any issues opening a specific study please send us an anonymized version of the study and our developers will look into it.

Does Horos Mobile™ support mouse input on iPads?

Currently No. Although it may work with some simple mouse interactions the app has not been designed to support this. We are currently working on new features and functionality. Stay tuned for more.

Is Horos Mobile™ FDA/CE approved?

No. Horos Mobile™ should not be used in clinical environments or making medical decisions for patients. Please read the EULA before using the app.
